The VeryCo VC1000 Single Phase Meter makes it easy to determine whether the meter is set to prepaid or postpaid mode by checking the indicator light next to the credit mark.

1. Prepaid Mode (Red Light Indicator)

If the meter displays a red light on the credit indicator, the meter is operating in prepaid mode.

In this mode:

  • Electricity is consumed based on purchased credit.

  • Users must top up units in advance.

  • The meter will disconnect supply when credit runs out.

2. Postpaid Mode (Green Light Indicator)

If the meter displays a green light on the credit indicator, the meter is operating in postpaid mode.

In this mode:

  • Electricity usage is billed after consumption.

  • Customers receive a monthly invoice.

  • The supply remains active without requiring prepaid credit.
