By the way, I'm not 100% sure the logging will still work if the unit is constantly connected on GPRS... I think it depends on the hardware and configuration. For example, the timer event that connects restarts the modem if it is already connected on some versions - timer overrun. But it is also possible to set up the unit on an APN modem, or as a Generic Active GPRS modem, if it should be necessary.
IF the modem restart all the time when you try to log values, it will also cause gaps in the log. The most reliable way to run it as a logger is probably as an APN modem.
There are also events that can be set up to come through on GPRS connection (even if the modem is configured as an APN modem - it must come through on the normal SmarTee PNPSCADA port). The way to specify a specific event is in the format:
START[Long PNPSCADA Event Description][event value]
