Depending on the tariff, Ekurhuleni specify that the Network access charge is based on the kVA usage during peak and standard hours only.
This would mean that you would firstly need to ensure you have the calendar setup for No-Season but have MD-ON for Peak & STD times configured and MD-Off for the off-peak.
Then when creating your Tariff, you would add another line item and choose the type "Maximum demand (TOU)", then you need to choose the Calendar period that was created. Lastly a couple of tick boxes need to be ticked,
- Enable Automatic Historical Maximum demand Penalty, measured over 1 year
- Force 1 line
Once this is done, the rate can be put in, and the tariff verified.
